The Individual Passport Power Rank for 2016 is here! We love seeing where our little old NZ passport ranks on the powerful passports world stage! If you’re wondering how exactly passports are ranked, it’s quite easy really! Countries are ranked on their VSF – visa free score (which also includes VOA – visa on arrival countries.). This is the amount of places you can travel without the need for a visa!

- Germany & Sweden – 158 countries can be visited with their power passports!
- Finland, France, Switzerland, Spain, United Kingdom – 157 countries can be visited visa free!
- Belgium, Denmark, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, South Korea, United States – 156 countries.
- Austria, Singapore, Luxembourg, USA, Portugal – 155 stamps on their powerful passports!
- Greece, Ireland, Japan – 154
- Canada, New Zealand – 153 countries we can visit Kiwis! Lets get travelling huh!
- Czech Republic, Hungary- 152 countries.
- Malta, Malaysia, Iceland, Australia – 151
- Poland – 150 countries the Polish can travel to on their powerful passports!
- Slovenia, Slovakia – 149 countries
Of course, when there is a top – there must also be a bottom! The following countries have the least powerful passports!
- Afghanistan – only 24 countries can be visited.
- Pakistan – 27
- Iraq – 30 countries can be travelled to with their not to powerful passports
- Somalia – 31
- Syria – 32 countries can easily be ticked off their bucket list!
- South Sudan, Ethiopia, Sudan – 36 countries can be visited.
- Bangladesh, Iran, Libya – 37 countries visa free!
- Palestinian territories, Eritrea – 38 countries
- Sri Lanka, Congo – 39 easy to visit countries on their list!
- Nepal, Lebanon – 40!
